|December 7, 1949||Chuo Kaisan Co, Ltd is founded in Kofu, Yamanashi, as a seafood wholesaler, with 10 million yen in capital. Shinzo Tanaka is made president of the company.|
|June, 1968||The first refrigerated warehouse is built in Kokubo, Kofu (current site).|
|November, 1971||The Seafood Wholesale Division is merged into Yamanashi Chuo Suisan Co., Ltd. upon opening of the Kofu Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market, and it is entered as a fishery product receiving company in the wholesale market. Shinzo Tanaka is made president of the company. Seafood wholesaling and refrigeration warehousing are separated upon opening of the wholesale market (current Kofu Regional Wholesale Market).|
